Oaxaca is land of many pueblos and over thirty different spoken languages. A great culture survives here that many in the world have never heard of. Including our founder, who had no idea that such a rich world existed in the south of Mexico. People deeply connected to the land, using the natural resources for survival and to create great art, textiles and cuisine. Using their learned understanding of color, smell and flavor in their purist forms, passed down through the generations. Unaltered by modern materials and machines, the Oaxacan people continue to use these skills to create.
